This practical workshop will take you through the planning and preparation to care for your own backyard poultry. Through guided discussion, resources, and hands-on experience you will discover everything you need to confidently and humanely raise chickens for eggs, meat, or just for fun.
Come join us on Saturday, 22 March 2025 and help us build five Suscovich chicken tractors. Materials and training will be provided.
Wild Haven Farm will be at the silent auction again this year with our soaps and goats. Come pet some goats and support an amazing community.

Goat Milk Soap Making Workshop with Herbalist Mandi Sawyer

Join us for a hands-on afternoon exploring the magical chemistry of traditional lye soap making with Mandi Sawyer of Wild Haven Farm. Mandi is a board-certified herbalist and licensed acupuncturist. She runs the herbal dispensary at North Central Health Sciences University, where she also serves as an adjunct professor teaching dispensary management—and she’s the maker behind all of Wild Haven Farm’s famous goat milk soaps.
