Pack manure is the manure which includes bedding. In our case, bedding is organic hay and sometimes pine shavings (approved for organic use). While our goats are not technically certified organic, they are raised on only organic hay. This assures that your manure is of organic quality if not actually certified.
Goat manure is an excellent alternative to cow or horse manure. Goat manure, even fresh, has very little odor. Even applied directly to the garden without composting, goat manure is less likely to cause nutrient burn. We have kept the bedding in the mix to help reduce cost but also because it will break down into even more nutrients for your garden and increases aeration.

Pack manure is sold by volume with a one-bucket minimum. A five-gallon pail weights a little over 10 lbs. We strongly encourage you to bring your own container. A five gallon pail with a lid works great. You can purchase one directly from us at the farm for $7.50 with the lid. We can also provide it in bags for you if you prefer.
Delivery to our Twin Cities drop site is not available for this item. If you cannot pick up on the farm please contact us and we can arrange delivery for a modest fee.
